Abstract


Abstrak : Seringkali, para mahasiswa menyisakan makanan yang dibeli di kantin Universitas Kristen Petra. Setiap konsumen, memiliki alasan tersendiri mengapa makanan tersebut disisakan kemudian dibuang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penyebab yang mempengaruhi plate waste di kantin Universitas Kristen Petra. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa jenis kelamin tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap jumlah plate waste. Selain itu, behavioural causes tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap terbentuknya plate waste.

Abstract : It is commonly found that the students are leaving an amount of plate waste in the food they have recently purchased from the canteens available at Petra Christian University. Every customer actually has his or her own reason in leaving a plate waste. This research is intended to investigate the behavioural cause on why students of Petra Christian University is leaving a plate waste. This research reveals that gender possesses insignificant influence towards the amount of plate waste. On the other hand, behavioural causes also possess insignificant influence towards the production of plate waste.
