ANALISA EKSPEKTASI GENERASI BABY BOMMERS, GENERASI X, DAN GENERASI Y TERHADAP ATRIBUT HOTEL SAAT MEMILIH HOTEL BERBINTANG DI INDONESIA

Abstract


Abstrak: Setiap golongan generasi pasti memiliki karakteristik yang unik, kebutuhan dan keinginan yang beragam serta dapat menimbulkan ekspektasi yang berbeda pula terhadap atribut hotel dalam memilih hotel berbintang. Atribut hotel dalam penelitian ini antara lain yaitu: 1) kamar dan layanan, 2) makanan dan minuman, 3) fasilitas, 4) keamanan, 5) lokasi, 6) Perceived value. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui atribut hotel manakah yang merupakan ekspektasi tertinggi bagi generasi Baby Boomers, generasi X, dan generasi Y dalam memilih hotel berbintang di Indonesia dan apakah ada perbedaan ekspektasi yang signifikan diantara ketiga generasi tersebut. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yaitu pada variabel fasilitas hotel, namun perbedaan yang ada tidak signifikan diantara generasi Baby Boomers, generasi X, dan generasi Y.

Abstract: Each group of generations must have unique characteristics, diverse needs and desires. These differences can lead to different expectations of hotel attributes in choosing star hotels. The hotel attributes in this study include: 1) rooms and services, 2) food and drinks, 3) facilities, 4) safety, 5) location, 6) Perceived value. This study aims to determine which hotel attributes are the highest expectations for Baby Boomers, X, and Y generations in choosing star hotels in Indonesia and whether there are significant differences in expectations among the three generations. The results of this study indicate that there are differences in the variables of hotel facilities, but the differences are not significant among Baby Boomers, X, and Y generations.
