Abstract

C & B department of PT. X always do continuous improvement as de­part­ment priority. One of the improvement that will be done is simplifying the uniform pro­vision process. The study focused on the provision of an annual uniform. The study be­gins with understanding the stages in annual uniform process. Method that have been used are making a comparison between actual and target time of uniform timeline, ma­king SIPOC charts, and analyzing value added or non-value added activities. Some im­provement suggestions are given in order to support the simplification of the process and re­duce or eliminate non-value added activities. The results of the improvement imple­men­tation is saving the provision time by 5.19 hours or 2 supporting resources.
