Abstract


ABSTRAK

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisa pengaruh perceived supervisor support  (PSS) terhadap efikasi diri para mahasiswa Manajemen Perhotelan Universitas Kristen Petra  yang sedang menjalani program magang dengan motivasi belajar sebagai variabel mediasi. Menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif kausal, data primer dikumpulkan melalui survei online kepada 47 responden. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa PSS belum cukup mampu menjelaskan pengaruhnya terhadap efikasi diri. PSS secara langsung berpengaruh positif terhadap motivasi belajar. Motivasi belajar secara langsung berpengaruh positif terhadap efikasi diri, dan motivasi belajar terbukti menjadi variabel mediasi PSS terhadap efikasi diri.

            ABSTRACT

This study aims to analyze the effect of perceived supervisor support (PSS) on  the self-efficacy of Petra Christian University Hotel Management’s students who are undergoing an internship program with learning motivation as a mediating variable. Using a causal quantitative approach, primary data was collected through an online survey of 47 respondents. The results of this research showed PSS was not sufficiently able to explain its effect on self-efficacy. PSS directly has a positive effect on learning motivation. Learning motivation directly has a positive effect on self-efficacy, and learning motivation is proven to be a mediating variable for PSS on self-efficacy.
