Abstract


ABSTRAK
Setiap generasi memiliki perilaku yang berbeda dalam hal mempertimbangkan atribut hotel ketika melakukan reservasi hotel secara online. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan perilaku generasi X dan Y dalam mempertimbangkan atribut hotel ketika melakukan reservasi hotel secara online. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya perbedaan yang tidak signifikan antara generasi X dan Y dalam mempertimbangkan variabel skor peringkat hotel yang dicantumkan pada agen perjalanan online, harga, lokasi, tersedianya foto kamar dan hotel, tersedianya informasi kamar, tersedianya informasi fasilitas hotel dan tersedianya informasi area sekitar hotel, namun terdapat adanya perbedaan yang signifikan antara generasi X dan Y pada variabel komentar tamu sebelumnya.

ABSTRACT
Each generation has different behaviour in considering hotel attributes when making online hotel reservation. This study was intended to determine the differences between generation X and Y behaviour in considering hotel attributes when making online hotel reservation. The result of this study indicated that there was no significant difference between generation X and Y behaviour in considering hotel attributes such as hotel rating listed on online travel agent, price, location, photographs of room and hotel, information about rooms, information about hotel ammenities and facilities and information on the surrounding area, however there was significant difference between generation X and Y behaviour in considering review from previous guests.
