Abstract


Abstrak : Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh hambatan diri sendiri, hambatan keluarga, hambatan organisasi dan hambatan budaya mempengaruhi perkembangan karir wanita di hotel Sheraton, hotel Vasa dan hotel Golden Tulip. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik analisa kuantitatif dengan menggunakan metode analisis regresi linier berganda. Terdapat 130 responden dalam penelitian ini yang semuanya adalah karyawan wanita. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hambatan diri sendiri, hambatan keluarga, hambatan organisasi dan hambatan budaya signifikan menghambat perkembangan karir wanita. Dari keempat variabel tersebut, hambatan budaya adalah hambatan paling dominan dalam perkembangan karir wanita.

Abstact : The purpose of this research is to determine the effect of self-esteem barriers, family barriers, organizational barriers and cultural barriers to women career development at Sheraton Hotel, Vasa Hotel and Golden Tulip Hotel. This study uses quantitative analysis techniques using multiple linear regression analysis methods. There were 130 respondents on this research who are all females. The results of the study showed that self barriers, family barriers, organizational barriers and cultural barriers significantly hindered on women career development. From these four variables, cultural variable was the most dominant barrier of women career development.
