Abstract


Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui citra yang dimiliki LeBron James sebagai sports celebrity pada tahun 2010 sampai dengan 2016. Pemberitaan media dapat mempengaruhi terbentuknya sebuah citra melekat dalam diri seorang tokoh yang selebriti yang ada.

Dalam proses berkembangnya citra yang ada juga diiringi dengan berkembangnya krisis citra yang secara sejajar perkembangannya, maka dari itu untuk mengidentifikasi dengan menggunakan beberapa indikator krisis citra, antara lain : Trustworthiness, Charisma and Charm, Power, dan Uniqueness. Dalam krisis citra yang ada akan muncul sebuah teknik dan strategi untuk mengatasinya dengan cara – cara atau strategi dalam merestorasi citra tersebut.
