Abstract


Meningkatnya kebutuhan pembangunan menuntun manusia untuk menemukan cara yang lebih efisien Meningkatnya kebutuhan pembangunan menuntun manusia untuk menemukan cara yang lebih efisien dan lebih cepat. Teknologi juga berkembang pesat dan memaksa semua sektor untuk mengikuti perkembangan zaman agar tidak tertinggal. Salah satu teknologi yang mulai diterapkan adalah 3D Printing. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui potensi penggunaan 3D Printing dalam proyek konstruksi dan hambatan penggunaan 3D Printing dalam proyek konstruksi. Pengumpulan data didapat dengan mengumpulkan jurnal-jurnal yang diperoleh di dalam maupun luar negeri. Data yang di yang diperoleh membahas mengenai keunggulan dan keterbatasan 3D Printing dalam bidang teknologi, biaya dan waktu. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa 3D Printing berpotensi untuk digunakan dalam proyek konstruksi dikarenakan 3D Printing memiliki keunggulan yang dapat membantu para pelaku konstruksi selama fase konstruksi, lebih hemat, dan lebih cepat. Selain itu, 3D Printing memiliki keterbatasan yang menjadi penghambat akan penggunaan 3D Printing itu sendiri yaitu: minat, tenaga kerja ahli, biaya printer yang mahal, dan regulasi. Melalui penelitian ini, diharapkan dapat membuka pandangan para pelaku konstruksi untuk melihat potensi penggunaan 3D Printing dalam sektor konstruksi.
