Abstract


PT.X is one of bicycle manufacturing companies in indonesia. This company produces thousands of bicycles of many types in daily basis. Currently PT.X generates waste (production leftovers) in each of its departments. One of them is Welding departement. A gap also found in the problems because of the increase in production to achieve company sustainability system also equivalent with the waste production that affects the environment. Thus, deeper identification is needed in the bicycle assembly manufacturing industry. With lean-sixigma approach to capture waste that caused by production waste flow that imbalanced to find the growth in company added value. PT.X wants to expand movement efficiency in the working process to decrease motion waste that calculated from cost and potential hazard in the company. To decrease motion waste, could be done by designing temporarary waste point. With this suggestion, it is hoped that it can reduce the potential for contamination of existing B3 waste.
