Identifikasi, Penilaian, dan Pengendalian Bahaya di Bagian Produksi PT. X
Abstract
The Final Project investigates Occupational Safety and Health at the glass
company PT. X. The problem occurring at PT. X is workplace accidents in the production area. This research uses the HIRARC method to hazard identification, hazard assessment, and hazard control at PT. X. Data collection for this research was conducted through interviews with production employees about the issues at PT. X. The highest potential hazards found were employees being exposed to silica dust during the sandblasting process, eardrums exposed to noise during the tempering process, and hand injuries during the edging and glasston processes. The causes of these potential hazards are categorized into the dimensions of Man, Method, and Environment, including workers who are new and have not received training, lack of supervision of workers, and inadequate air circulation due to very high temperatures. The proposed hazard control for
the tempering machine is for workers to wear foam earplugs because foam earplugs can reduce the noise from the tempering machine. The proposed hazard control for the sandblasting machine is for workers to wear KN 95 masks because KN 95 masks have a thicker quality level.
