Perancangan Dashboard Untuk Meningkatkan Monitoring Proses Manufaktur di PT Surya Dermato Medica

Abstract

PT. SDM is a leading company that produces dermatology products. In an effort to improve performance in the production area, it is necessary to observe and collect data regarding the company's production process in the current production area, where in the production process the company uses a daily log which is a document that presents information regarding all processes in the production area. Based on observations, differences were found between daily logs and direct observations, where observations showed that the actual manual process was higher by 16.29%, while the process using machines decreased by 7.82%. Based on these results, the company cannot evaluate the production area, so a production dashboard is needed. The first step taken was to collect data and identify using Five Whys to uncover problems that occurred in the
production area, after that it was continued by designing the production dashboard which began by using a Data Flow Diagram to describe the overall flow of data on the dashboard which was continued by Entity Relationship Diagram to map the relationships and data models used by the
dashboard which ends with designing an Activity Diagram to map user interactions with the dashboard which makes it easier to design the interface on the dashboard. Having this production dashboard can help companies improve and maximize performance in the production area
