Abstract

PT. X is a company engaged in the plastic packaging industry. This company requires a semi-finished raw material called sheet roll for each production. PT.X uses the help of software commit as part of production to distribution. Software Commit is tailor- made software, which means PT. X ordered this software only for their company to ensure the data transfer process can run in an orderly, structured, and systematic manner, different from the previous method, which still used the manual method and sent data manually. Researchers want to analyze the software commit satisfaction level and further development related to software commit requirements. Researchers use the form of flowchart diagrams starting from observing software, finding problems, searching for supporting data, looking for literature studies, data processing, problem analysis, and making proposals until the company validates them. The results in the following research show that several actions can be taken as suggestions for improvement and development for software commits. Proposals for improvement and development that are also suggested including creating and setting standard templates for making reports on software commits and several other developments discussed in this study. This study aims to make improvements such as creating standard templates for reports, creating item tracking functions, creating SO history data, and creating PPIC schedule creation features.
