Faktor-Faktor yang Mempengaruhi Kesiapan Dana Pendidikan Anak di Perguruan Tinggi Pada Orangtua Siswa SMA Swasta di Surabaya

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh sumber dana, literasi keuangan, dan jangka waktu terhadap kesiapan dana pendidikan anak di perguruan tinggi serta mengetahui hubungan faktor demografi dengan kesiapan dana pendidikan anak di perguruan tingi. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah asosiatif dan sumber data primer. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner. Data yang terkumpul kemudian dianalisis menggunakan Partial Least Square (PLS) dan Analisa Korespondensi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sumber dana mempunyai pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kesiapan dana pendidikan. Literasi keuangan memberikan pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kesiapan dana pendidikan. Jangka waktu tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kesiapan dana pendidikan. Faktor demografi (usia, tingkat pendidikan, dan pekerjaan) tidak berhubungan signifikan dengan kesiapan dana pendidikan.

This study aims to determine the effect of the source of funds, financial literacy, and the term of the fund readiness of children's higher education as well as determine the relationship of demographic factors to the fund readiness of children's education in college steeper. The research type is associative and use primary data. The technique of data collecting by using questionnaires. The collected data was analyzed using Partial Least Square (PLS) and Correspondence Analysis. The research results invent the source of funds has  positive and significant impact on the fund readiness of children’s higher education. Financial literacy has significant positive effect on the fund readiness of children’s higher education. Term of the fund readiness has no significant effect on the fund readiness of children's higher education. Demographic factors (age, parent’s education level and occupation) have no correlation with the fund readiness of children's higher education
