Abstract


This study aims to observe the effect of transformational leadership on competitive advantage mediated
by product innovation performance with the research object of MSMEs on e-commerce platforms. MSMEs on ecommerce
platforms
are
one
of
the
most
popular
types
of
businesses
in
Indonesia
today
and
continues
to
grow.

In
this
study
the
data
obtained
by
distributing
questionnaires
to
research
respondents,
namely
MSME

managers
on
the
e-commerce
platform
as
many
as
200
respondents.
The
data
obtained
were
then
processed

using
data
analysis
techniques
with
the
PLS
model.
The
results
show
that
transformational
leadership
has
an

effect
on
product
innovation
performance,
but
has
no
effect
on
competitive
advantage.
In
this
study
also
found

that
the
performance
of
product
innovation
has
an
effect
on
competitive
advantage.
In
this
study
also
found
that

there
is
a
perfect
mediating
effect
of
product
innovation
performance
on
the
effect
of
transformational
leadership

on
competitive
advantage.
