Abstract


Abstrak - Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menganalisa pengaruh insentif terhadap employee engagement di hotel X Surabaya. Employee engagement penting untuk meningkatkan kinerja karyawan demi keberhasilan organisasi. Insentif moneter merupakan imbalan bagi karyawan sebagai penghargaan dari kinerja kerja karyawan yang baik dalam berupa uang. Insentif non-moneter merupakan sistem kompensasi tidak langsung yang diberikan pada karyawan atas prestasi kerja berupa non-material. Teknik analisa yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif kausal. Hasil analisa regresi menunjukan bahwa insentif moneter dan insentif non-moneter berpengaruh positif terhadap employee engagement. Insentif moneter tidak berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap employee engagement. Sementara itu insentif non-moneter berpangaruh signifikan terhadap employee engagement di hotel X Surabaya.

Abstract - This research was conducted to analyze the influence of incentives to employee engagement in Surabaya X hotel. Employee engagement is important to improve employee performance for organizational success. Monetary incentives are a reward for employees as an appreciation of good performance in the form of money. Non-monetary incentives are an indirect compensation in non-material form provided as an appreciation of employees good performance. The analysis technique is using quantitative causal research method. The result of the regression analysis shows that monetary incentives and non-monetary incentives have a positive effect on employee engagement. Monetary incentives have no significant effect on employee engagement. Meanwhile, non-monetary incentives have a significant effect on employee engagement in X hotel Surabaya.
