Memasuki era revolusi 4.0, di negara berkembang seperti Indonesia sendiri, peningkatan dari jumlah pengguna internet atau user, kecepatan akses teknologi informasi dan digital, hal - hal itu berdampak pada perubahan dan pergeseran perilaku masyarakat yang ingin serba digital. begitu juga dengan marketplace yang ada di Indonesia juga memanfaatkan promotion yang dilakukan secara online agar dapat meningkatkan minat beli konsumen
