Abstract

Cane pulp are leftovers from the process of making cane stem into sugar which are not used again. This research aims to produce an alternative material to make a strand board from cane pulp, whereas cane pulps possess wood aspects which can be used. This research uses the Research and Development method which focuses on material innovation. Some stages used include data gathering, planning, experiment, analysis, to make the final product. This research produces a prototype of a strand board.
